Bump-stops

Good pictures of the KT bump-stops are rare. Fortunately Bernd Kubiak came up with a set from the Full KT

When Bernd noticed I was not certain about the interior of the bump stops, he took several pictures of them showing the complete workings and fitting. Many thanks for these Bernd!

Rob_06: Another one of mine showing the same.

Bernd-09: Showing a bottom part with piston and springs. The spring discs are mounted incorrect here. Picture Bernd-121 shows it correct.

Rob_2276: I have been wondering about that circular impression in the top center...
Rob_2277
Rob_2277: It turns out to be part of the casting and this picture gives an impression how deep it is.

Rob_7402: Constructions often prove to be more complex then thought at first glimpse: Here we see the inside position of the front-left bump-stop. 72mm holes have been drilled, into which rings were welded that contain the tread for the bolts.

Rob_7169: Looking a bit closer at this picture reveals that the bump-stop is mounted at a slight angle. A drawing shows this to be 2°10'.
