The Vimoutiers Tiger IThough the Saumur disks have been received very well regarding the quality and information presented, sales numbers are barely covering the material costs. Therefore, I decided to do this little project in a different way.
Costs have been cut as much as possible. Off course without touching the image quality or numbers - You get all pictures I took. The difference is that I burn these disks myself on demand only, after which they are send low weight, without a disk box.

Inside are all the photos we took of this Tiger during our visits to Vimoutiers in 2007 and 2008.
What is so interesting on pictures of a wreck? Well, for one thing, there are no thick layers of paint and Zimmerit covering details. The pictures on this disk are a nice addition to the Saumur Tiger pictures.
Compatibility:
The photos are presented as single JPEG files. Original photo size for most photos is 3008 x 2000 pixels, with file sizes between 1,5 and 5 Mb.
The disks are best viewed using your computer in combination with any picture viewing application.
Viewing the photos using a standalone DVD player on your television set, might be possible, depending on your device.

Quality:
For making the photos we mostly used my Nikon D50 camera. The camera is equipped with both the standard lens and a high quality portrait lens.
Each photo is watermarked with the text "© www.panzerbasics.com". This text had to be placed, but against professional advise to put it in very large letters across the photo, I chose to put it in the edges at minimum opacity.
